What is RSS?

RSS, which stands for “Real Simple Syndication”, is a format used for supplying information to special applications called “feed readers”. Feed readers keep track of all the RSS feeds you have subscribed to, and automatically display any new content that has been added to each site. By subscribing to our RSS feed, you would automatically be notified of new content we add to this site, like blog posts, events, etc. It’s a beautiful thing.
Pull verses Push
RSS is considered a “Pull” style of syndication, because it is solely based on your preference. It may replace other styles of syndication considered to be “Pushy”, like email-based content.
